Tell me about yourself/family and how readers can find you/your business (websites, Amazon/Etsy links, social media, brick and mortar)?

I am a mom to 3 beautiful kids ages ranging from 2-5 and I love every second with them. Being a mom is a dream come true and I love them so much. I am on Facebook and Instagram at Lil' Stitches Creations. The majority of my items are on my Facebook store but I also have my etsy.

Tell me about your business. What inspired you to start, and how did you actually get started? Who is your audience/who do you serve?

Back to my kids haha they inspired it. I started my business to be able to stay home with them and that is what it has blessed me with being able to do. I started with just making Minky blankets and then expanded to offer lots of baby toys, teethers, swaddles and bibs. I am here for all new moms and people looking for gifts for new moms.

What do most people misunderstand or maybe don't know about your business? What does behind the scenes look like?

After I get my kids to bed that's when I work. So full time mom and then a couple hours every evening doing my best to bring the highest quality baby items to moms.

What is the biggest challenge in your business right now?

Everyone is experiencing the price hikes on everything but the big stores can still keep their prices lower because of the quantity they buy of items so prices and sales being down has been a challenge.

What is some advice you can give others who want to start a small business that you wish you had when you were first starting?

It will always be worth it but you need to put it far more effort than you think but if you will do that you will be successful!

When you are not working, where do you find yourself and what are you doing? What is something unique about you that maybe most people don't know?

Haha back to my kids but they truly are my greatest joy, but besides them, and I don't do it much anymore but I was a professional dancer and I love all kinds of dancing so if I could pick something to do it would revolve around dance.

What is one way you show up for yourself in your business each day?

Learn something new everyday because you will never know it all.
